The basic Joker, combined with the various kits, can be used to weed low-grain mineral surfaces (athletics tracks, cemeteries, petanque pitches, etc.).
Flatness work
All landscape professionals agree that to maintain and weed mineral surfaces in zero phyto, the soil should be worked to a maximum depth of 5 mm.
For this to be possible, the floor must be between 0 and 5 mm flat.
This levelling operation is carried out with the Joker and the brush kit: the teeth of the plate crush the material and remove the “bumps” by creating “fine” material, then the brush recovers this surplus material and fills in the hollows.
Mechanical weeding
After this action, the Joker is equipped with the weeding kit.
This is made up of very sharp knives, which reproduce theaction of the hoe while working smoothly.
Mounted on spring-loaded ploughshares, the knives do not break or plough the ground if they encounter a large obstacle.
Thecombined action of the tines, which crumble the material and uproot young weeds, and the knives at the rear, which scalp deep-rooted weeds, ensures complete and effective weed control on mineral surfaces.
And all this without “ploughing” the soil, which would have a disastrous effect in the medium term as weeds would grow even more easily, not to mention a surface that would lose its flatness.
A 100% French machine, manufactured in-house in our Alsace workshops, the Joker is a compendium of simple, robust technology: puncture-proof wheels (Farmflex), spring-loaded teeth, carbide-reinforced French-brand knives, French-made nylon brushes, etc.
The Joker and its complementary kits can be easily adjusted using the 3-point bar. What’s more, when the machine passes over, the operator can immediately see what he’s doing, and fine-tune the settings as required.
To meet the needs of users and their context in the field, the Joker and kits are available in different widths: 1.00 m, 1.20 m, 1.50 m, 1.80 m, 2.10 m, 3.60 m, 4.60 m.
