Joker XL Golf has been developed in collaboration withAGREF for greenkeepers who maintain their lawns without pesticides.
Its versatility is appreciated for maintaining different areas of the golf course: fairways, semi-roughs or pre-roughs mowed to around 10 cm.
With a working width of 3.60 or 4.60 meters, the machine is made up of 3 independent tine plates, which perfectly follow the relief of the soil.
The Joker XL is ideal for dethatching, treating earthworm castings and restoring flatness.
Its high tooth density ensures maximum efficiency in a single pass (up to 40,000 m²/hour).
MECHANICAL WEEDING
– Removes moss, felt and low-rooting undesirables.
– The teeth straighten and sever the leaves of deep-rooted undesirables (plantain, paspalum, dandelion, foxtail, crabgrass) to weaken them.
– Explodes earthworm castings without removing plant matter.
– Thanks to the height-adjustable tine plate, the tines can be adjusted so that they skim the surface without resting on the ground.
Passing through the Joker before mowing straightens the strands, for a clean, even cut.
Basic model
3600 or 4600
D5 or D6 teeth
Harrow Kit
Seeder Kit
The Joker XL can be fitted with a pneumatic seeder (capacity: 120 or 300 liters) to carry out overseeding operations over a width of 3.60 m or 4.60 m, guaranteeing outstanding yields.
TOOTH DIAMETER
Different tooth sections are available (5 mm or 6 mm diameter):
D5 – Multi-purpose teeth for routine maintenance.
D6 – Teeth for more effective weeding of large-leaved weeds (plantain, dandelion, paspalum, foxtail, crabgrass) than D5.
HARROW KIT
It scatters the material that falls from the wheel scrapers when processing earthworm castings.
Proud to offer you French-made machines, we pay particular attention to quality in the choice of materials and the manufacturing process.
The machines are manufactured in our workshops in Alsace. Our aim is to create products that are reliable and easy to use.
Tailor-made solutions are available for specific situations.
Raw materials come mainly from France, Germany and Italy.
Pierre-Yves Raoult, head of the parks and gardens division, in charge of the golf course of the city of Chalon-sur-Saône
With its 18 holes, 6 practice holes, a driving range and a putting green, the municipal golf course of Chalon-sur-Saône (France, 71) had a major problem: the presence of worm castings.
“Starting each October, especially when humidity levels start rising, all of our fairways become overrun with worm casts. This is really not the ideal situation for the game and the turf!
We had tested different solutions. But during a demonstration day, we were blown away by the performance of the ‘Joker’ harrow.
Given the excellent quality/price ratio and the minimal maintenance, we said to ourselves, ‘Why not use it on our course?’ And that’s exactly what we did.
The result: We are very satisfied with it! We even recommend it for the maintenance of sports grounds (rugby, soccer, etc.). In addition, beyond the fact of ‘pulverizing’ the castings, this 4m-wide rake allows for light turf scarification. It will also nicely prepare the soil before seeding; the ground is ‘clawed’ so to speak.
Some interesting options are also available, such as the broom that can be secured behind the rake. It redistributes the castings for a perfectly flat surface. The Harrow Kit can also be used to maintain sanded pathways without destructuring the soil.
Last but not least, I also find the accessory storage rack, offered by Hege, convenient for storing the brushes, the broom…”
